Hidden Places of Bolinao, Pangasinan Philippines

Have you ever heard about Bolinao? It is not famous but once you get there, the 6 hrs ride is all worth it. Bolinao is a third class municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 74,545 people. We went there last summer wit my family. We used GPS to get there because my uncle didn’t know the exact place.

When we got there, people are very hospitable. There many vendors of fresh sea foods. People are very friendly. You feel like you are welcome to their place. They will guide you to your destination.

The first hidden places in Bolinao is the Patar Beach. We went there on our first day in Pangasinan. The beach has no entrance. The sand is so hot like you are walking in a burning sand. The sand is white as I expected. There are weeds floating and anytime you can collect shells.15435780_1398864690156081_1635111914_n

The photo taken while my brother is putting sand in our body with my uncle. The sand in my chest is so heavy to the point that I can’t breathe that’s why I stood quickly and I can’t handle the hotness of the sun. It is like the sun is burning your face.

The next day, we went to the Enchanted Cave. Your 200 pesos entrance is worth it. Enchanted Cave is the second hidden places in Bolinao. The cave is quite dark. The water is very cold. I can’t took long the coldness so i decided to sat and stayed in a rock. There are so many rock in the cave. You have to be careful, you might get slip because of slippery rocks. If you don’t want to swim in the cave, there are pools available outside the cave.

After our Enchated Cave adventure, we went to the Bolinao Falls 2, the third hidden places in Bolinao. The falls is quite small. I can say that the water is not that clear because of moss. There is like a river, I don’t know what is it but it looks like a river. It is so deep that’s why I just sat and stayed in a rock. The fresh water is so refreshing and I like that feeling. There are available life vest to rent cost 50 pesos. There is also a falls on the other side of Bolinao falls 2 and it is just walking distance. We went there. The other falls is a bit higher compare to the first one.
